The Beantown Blankets organization was founded by twelve Babson College sophomores. Now family run, Beantown Blankets continually strives to improve the lives of others. We are partnered with Pine Street Inn, the largest resource for homelessness in New England. Blankets are handed to homeless individuals in the Boston area via Pine Street's outreach program. For every Beantown Blanket purchased another blanket is given to a person in need.
The blankets can be customized with a logo. Here are the specs for the blankets:
- Standard blanket size: 50″ x 60″
- All blankets are delivered rolled, tied with jute-twine, and a letter is placed inside that explains our mission.
- Deluxe fleece throw blanket on the face side with durable 210 denier, black oxford waterproof on the back
- Folds into itself and has attached carrying straps
- Unique pocket design enables embroidery.
- Super soft, ultra thermal and machine washable
